Peter Madden
Peter Madden founded AgileCat in 2001 out of a Manayunk row home with nothing but a borrowed computer and $200. Since those humble beginnings, AgileCat, known for a customized, relentless approach to driving revenue and growth through disruptive creative solutions, has created brands and advertising campaigns that thrive throughout the world. Clients are comprised of a wide range of companies that come from areas as varied as healthcare, medical technology, tourism, museums, retail, finance, commercial real estate, entertainment, chemical, and more. In addition, AgileCat holds the trademark for Brandterior® Design, a hybrid of branding and interior design that brings out a company’s purpose and values in inspiring ways through jaw-dropping art installations, large-scale graphics, and history galleries.
Peter, who serves as CEO of AgileCat, was named a “Most Admired CEO” by the Philadelphia Business Journal in 2015 and 2019. In addition, the Philadelphia Business Journal named Peter as one of 2006’s most influential business people under the age of 40. He was also named a Vanguard by Philadelphia Style Magazine.
Peter is referred to as a “brand guru” by USA Today and has appeared in such media as AdWeek, Entrepreneur, Fortune, Forbes, and on FOX, as well as countless TV and radio news programs regionally to discuss trends in advertising, branding, and marketing.
As giving back is a staple of his life, Peter serves as the longtime Vice President of the Philadelphia Police Foundation, Trustee of La Salle Academy, and serves on the Board of Directors for Rittenhouse Square. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Union League of Philadelphia, the #1 City Club in the United States, where he also served as Chairman of the Union League’s Branding & Communications Committee. In his spare time, Peter enjoys playing music, golfing, writing, surfing, and paddle boarding. He and his wife Celeste are the proud parents of their two children, Gavin and Bianca, who share their Dad’s same love of all things creative.
